Hours of Operation
The Center is open SIX days a week, Monday-Saturday with both virtual and in-person availability. Our therapist keep their own hours, but overall the center is open from 7:30 am through 8pm. What Does Therapy Look Like and How Do I Make an Appointment?
We work with most insurance companies as an out of network provider. Many insurance plans will reimburse a certain percentage of therapy fees should you wish to seek payment.
It is important for you to know that should you choose to file for reimbursement from your insurance company, we will be required to assign a mental health diagnosis.
Our Center has experience working with government professionals with sensitive security clearances, political figures and young children. Although we are committed to maintaining your privacy at all times, we do not have control over how your insurance company uses information once it is released to them. If this is of concern to you, choosing not to include your insurance company may be your safest choice.
If you are interested in using your insurance, ask your insurance company what your mental health benefits are with an "out of network provider". They can tell you the reimbursement rate for all relevant out-patient services. We will generate a statement for you as needed for reimbursement should you choose this route. Using your flexible spending account from the office may help cover the costs of therapy as well.
Payments
Payment is due at the time of service. To avoid a 50% cancellation fee for the 1st cancellation and full fee for subsequent, all cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. We accept cash, check, flex/health savings cards and most credit cards.
Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

- Call and LEAVE A MESSAGE. Anyone who has called our healing center has probably spoken to our Loudoun based virtual assistant, Sherri. She is the first calm and grounded experience many of you have had with us. I have heard SO many people talk about her kind and patient demeanor during intakes. Sherri knows the strengths, skill sets and availability of all of the therapists housed at FTC and can help brainstorm a best fit therapist for you or your loved one.
- Don’t like the phone? Email Sherri Here. She will follow the same process to get a therapist who is right for you or for someone you love.
- Your first appointment is with your therapist and is called the "Intake Appointment". This appointment is where your therapist will gather background info and hear what you are hoping to get out of the process. Is the appointment for a child? You will still set up an intake so that you can talk about your child privately with the therapist.
- Therapy is then weekly (unless you’re in crisis and you feel like you need more at first). Most therapists will offer a time slot that you can rely on week after week.
- When things feel better and are more manageable, therapy decreases to every other week.. etc until we work ourselves out of a job and you or your loved one no longer need to come!
- We do offer after school appointments for children/teens, HOWEVER, our therapist's schedules book up quickly. If your child can come in during specials, study hall, or at the end of the school day. you will greatly increase your chances of getting your child a timely appointment. Most school administrators and principals approve therapy appointments during the school day if they are mindfully planned.
- Many adults and couples prefer to have appointments while their children are in school. Our therapists can offer both virtual and in person appointments during the day to keep your sessions from interfering with family time.
- We are out of network (OON) for insurance as a means to protect you, your privacy and your treatment. As an OON provider, Insurance doesn’t ask to read your chart. They don’t dictate how many sessions you are allowed. They don’t tell us what we can and can not do in session. You keep your privacy and we help you from a deeper more efficient level that is tailored JUST FOR YOU. Learn more about OON below. .
