Safely Rewire Your Nervous System Through Scientifically Filtered Music:
Introducing The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) &
The Rest and Restore PRotocol™ (RRP) Listening PRograms

Often times stress and anxiety make us feel AMPED and out of control (panic attacks, angry outbursts, racing thoughts).
Other times we shrink, shut down and shut out (isolating from others, not responding to friends, procrastinating with deadlines). Neither are helpful long term solutions.
We can't control all of our life circumstance, but we can certainly change HOW our nervous system and brain react and respond.
Sometimes Traditional Therapy is NOT Enough
With unmanaged stress, anxiety and trauma, relationships suffer, school/work performance drops and life feels exhausting.
Finding ways to CALM the Nervous System and feel SAFE in the body (be able to trust again, feel vulnerable and even relax) is key... and WE CAN HELP.
The Ear as a Gentle Portal to the Brain & Nervous System
(for children, teens & adults)
The Safe and Sound Protocol, SSP
The SSP is a five total hour, app based listening program that gently exercises the middle ear and stimulates cranial nerves through scientifically filtered music, thus signaling safety to the nervous system.
The Rest and Restore Protocol™, RRP
RRP is also a 5 total hour listening program that embeds biological rhythms into calming music, signaling the healing functions of the autonomic nervous system.
Both programs use altered music and help balance the nervous system 2-15 minutes per day yet from different approaches. No need to feel overwhelmed! Your clinician will help determine which program (SSP or RRP) would be better suited to meet your goals.
Often clients finish one program and progress into the other.
How is the Safe and sound protocol (SSP) Helping Others
and What Might I Expect it to Help Me With?

Those with sensory overload, panic attacks, residual trauma, chronic illness, anxiety etc have reported feeling more emotional and physical relief after participating in SSP listening sessions.
Some have reported being able to tolerate loud sounds, uncomfortable physical sensations and bright lights better after the SSP. Others notice they are able to handle stress better and are not getting panicked, angry or tearful as easily.
Some have reported better sleep, while others appear to engage more socially and report feeling less anxious in social settings.
Everyone is different and not all clients will experience this level of change, but the research does lend hope.

How is the Rest and Restore™ (RRP) Helping Others and
What Might I Expect it to Help Me With?

76% of participants in the RRP research reported improvements in insomnia, 93% reported decrease in anxiety, 88% had reduced PTSD symptoms and 82% experienced a lift in their depression.
Some showed mere improvements, and others had such drastic improvements, they no longer met clinical criteria for the diagnoses.
Everyone is different and not all clients will experience this level of change, but the research does lend hope.
